Women on Mission group meeting
The April meeting of the Cape Baptist Association Women on Mission group will be Tuesday, April 23, 2 pm at the home of Laura Norman, 218 A Street Cape Girardeau. All women are welcome to join us, especially those who do not have a women’s mission group in their church. We will learn about our IMB missionaries in Uganda, continuing our study of how Jesus taught us to pray, and share a mission project. An IMB missionary in Mexico has requested help with hygiene supplies for the refugee women they are working with on the southern boarder of Mexico. Several women have been sewing and making donations for this project. You can help be a part of this ends of the earth ministry!

A WINDOW INTO EASTERN MONTANA
Shoal Creek Baptist Association in Southwest Missouri is partnering with Jeff Cahill in Eastern Montana by sending a work team to Glendive Montana in June. The team will be installing new windows (designed for very cold climates) into a building that is being remodeled to serve as a church planting sending base for the region (see Jeff’s note below). Thirty-four windows will cost $430.00 each. Two windows will cost $356.00 each. Would your church be willing to purchase a window as part of our association’s partnership with Eastern Montana?
Note from Pastor Jeff Cahill:
We are remodeling the educational building in Glendive MT into a mission dorm to not only house mission teams, but to be able to have interns there to help with the restart of the church. While helping with the restart of the church in Glendive, they would be further equipped to start other churches in eastern MT, or to have pastors to replace existing pastors that will be retiring or are being called somewhere else. We are so appreciative of all the help and support from our partnership with Missouri Baptists. Your church may not be able to be a part of a mission trip, but you can be a part of this work by buying a window or sending other funds to support the work. Thanks for all your support!

Executive Board Meeting, Monday, May 6, 6:30pm
We will be having an Executive Board meeting on Monday, May 6th at 6:30pm. The meeting will be in the basement of the Association office.
If you are a lead pastor or interim pastor of a member church, then you are an Executive Board member. Your church should have voted on one of your members to become a second Executive Board member. The list can be found under the "Documents" tab on our website as part of the Annual Celebration 2023 documents.
