Baptist Collegiate Ministries

Have you ever been on your cell phone talking with a friend and suddenly hit a spot where the bars drop and you lost your connection? Life stinks when we get disconnected. College is a time when it's easy to get disconnected from what matters most in life: friends, family, God! Don't let your years at Southeast be a time where you disconnect from God or others. Choose instead to connect. The BSU exists to offer ways students can connect with others and with God. As a campus ministry our mission statement is to: Join God by intentionally establishing one on one relationships that result in students receiving and becoming like Christ. We offer opportunities forstudents to connect together and with the campus through small group Bible studies, weekly worship gatherings, monthly outreach opportunities on campus, prayer meetings, fall break/spring break mission trips, summer missions opportunities, and other fellowship activities. Ultimately, our goal is to intersect lives with those in the collegiate community and to LEAD those college students, faculty, and staff to faith in Jesus Christ, to DEVELOP them as disciples and leaders, and to CONNECT them to the life and mission of the Church.
