When we recognized our need for a person to improve our communications with the churches and better serve the individual needs of our bivocational pastors, we determined to create a new position to meet this need with excellence. No position can fulfill these expectations without a great servant. Daryl retired from full time pastoral ministry in 2020 and moved from ND to MO where the winter’s are milder. You will find him to be a great listener and eager to learn about you and your ministry.
Daryl is a native of southwestern North Dakota. He met his wife (Beth), who grew up in Cape Girardeau, on a blind date when he was a first year student at Dallas Theological Seminary and she was a senior at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX. Both of them had become Christians in college through the ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ (CRU). They have four children (Heather, Andrew, Mark & Holly) and eight grandchildren (Emma, Max, Lucy, Naomi, Meg, Ruby, Gus & Cora).
Daryl also serves in another part time role with Crown Chaplain Ministries as a chaplain at Capetown Americare in Cape Girardeau and The Villas in Jackson. Beth is currently the music teacher at Lynwood Christian Academy. He enjoys sports, having officiated high school football and basketball for over thirty years, and the outdoors. Beth enjoys knitting in her spare time. They are delighted to be in Southeast MO at this time.
